Location

The European restaurant & Bistro is situated in Derby city centre. Nearest car park is Assembly Rooms (pay & display, maximum 4 hour stay), but it is also possible to park at Bold lane save car park and there is on street parking facilities outside the cathedral and down to St. Mary's gate. The restaurant is 15 minutes walk from Derby Train Station and 5 minutes from Derby Bus Station.

From North/South (to Assembly rooms car park)

M1 motorway, junction 25, onto A52 signposted Derby. Follow A52 for approximately 7 miles until you reach a large roundabout (The Pentagon). At roundabout take 2nd exit, signposted city centre. Road splits into several lanes, get into the second from the left. Follow road into city centre. At next roundabout, take your third exit into the Morledge (bus station is on your right). Follow road, at next roundabout, go straight ahead, with large brick building (Council House) on your right. At next roundabout, take 1st exit off into the Assembly Rooms car park (pay & display, maximum 4 hour stay). From the car park, find the Tourist Information Centre, with your back to the main doors of the Centre facing the Market Place, walk straight ahead and follow the building on your right, to the end. At the end of the building turn right into Iron Gate, and the restaurant is a short walk ahead on your left, before the Cathedral.

From East

From Nottingham A52 to Derby. Follow route as North/South.

From West

From Ashbourne A52 to Derby. Reach large roundabout with McDonalds and Esso Petrol Station on right. Take 2nd exit off roundabout. After approximately three quarters of a mile you will reach a one-way system. Get into the left hand lane. After the road bends to the right, keep in left hand lane and road nows bends to the left. After this bend, get into the right hand lane, at next set of traffic lights, get into the slip road to the right. Turn right at set of traffic lights. Follow to end of road and turn left. Go past the Queens Leisure Centre on left and get into the right hand lane. At next set of traffic lights go straight ahead. Follow road until you reach a roundabout and take 3rd exit off into Assembly Rooms car park (maximum 4 hour stay), this is the nearest car park. From the car park, find the Tourist Information Centre, with your back to the main doors of the Centre facing the Market Place, walk straight ahead and follow the building on your right, to the end. At the end of the building turn right into Iron Gate, and the restaurant is a short walk ahead on your left, before the Cathedral.

From Derby bus station

Depart Bus Station onto The Morledge, with the bus station to the back of you, you will see Eagle Centre Market in front of you, turn right, follow road until you reach a roundabout. Go straight ahead into the Morledge, (Derby City Council building on your right). Cross the road and you should see the Assembly Rooms building and Tourist Information Centre. Walk to the main doors of the Tourist Information Centre, with your back to the main doors of the Centre facing the Market Place, walk straight ahead and follow the building on your right, to the end. At the end of the building turn right into Iron Gate, and the restaurant is a short walk ahead on your left, before the Cathedral.
